In Portorož you'll find a brand-new Karnic SL 642 — a versatile motorboat built for comfortable day trips from Piran to Poreč. Our approach is simple: pickup at 9:00, return at 18:00, the route in between is yours.

With a boat licence you can pilot the boat yourself. Without one, our skipper takes the helm. Lunch in Izola, a swim near Strunjan, coffee in Piran — or all three. No packages forcing a programme on you.

No licence? We have a skipper

Renting without a boat licence is entirely possible with an experienced local skipper who knows every bay from Trieste to Poreč.

Free cancellation 48 hours before

Bad weather? Plans changed? Up to 48 hours before pickup we'll reschedule or cancel free of charge.

Common questions. A quick reference for everything you need to know.

To operate the boat independently in Slovenia, you need a valid boat licence (category C or higher). If you don't have one, the rental is still possible — we include a skipper: €20 + VAT for half a day or €40 + VAT for a full day.
We monitor the forecast. If unfavourable conditions are expected (bad weather, strong winds, storms), we reschedule the rental free of charge. Guest safety always comes first.
Fuel is not included in the rental price. You pay for actual consumption — we calculate it based on the digital meter reading before departure and after return.
Of course — the boat is family-friendly. The Karnic SL 642 has a deep V-hull that ensures a smooth ride even for the youngest passengers. The shade bimini is included.
Pickup is normally in Portorož, though other locations can be arranged. We'll send the exact mooring location the day before your rental. For full-day rentals the standard pickup is at 9:00, with return at 18:00. For half-day rentals and shorter trips we agree on times.
The boat is rated for navigation up to 4 nautical miles from shore (category C). That covers the entire Gulf of Trieste, the Koper and Piran bays, the Slovenian coast, Istria up to Poreč, and the coast up to Trieste. International routes (Croatia, Italy) we register before departure.
Payment is possible by proforma invoice (bank transfer) or in cash on pickup. The €500 security deposit is also paid on pickup — once the boat is returned undamaged, we refund it in full immediately.
Absolutely — pack a picnic, a cooler, and any drinks you like. Alternatively, by arrangement, we can prepare drinks and snacks for you. For special occasions (birthdays, marriage proposals) we can arrange flowers and champagne.
